Goofy time at gymnastics

Yes, it’s true, I love goofing around. Even at (… or should I say “especially at”) gymnastics! I didn’t think I would be caught on video, but here it is, my latest gymnastics video mixed with practice time of Level 6 and Level 7 skills like Giants and Fly Away Layout at the bar, and on the floor some round off flip flop layout, round off flip flop layout half, aerials, front tuck, etc.
This was during the Grand Opening of our new gymnastics training center; we simply had hours and hours of craziest open gym time.

Oh, and can you tell I love music and I miss my drums lessons? ;-D

A sparkly 4th of July

This 4th of July was awesome!

But at first I got frustrated because I couldn’t see the fireworks. And neither did my mom. My dad was the only one who could see them because they were very small and you had to look very carefully along the buildings and the houses.
Once my dad showed me where to look for the fireworks, I finally saw them. We had a wonderful view! I could see them well, but that was not even the best part: after 10 minutes of watching the “baby fireworks”, then came the grand finale! There were green, blue, red, yellow, white and orange fireworks! We took pictures with our phones.

This was the best 4th of July ever!

I started last Sunday with the first test, and it was not really easy! I was not too happy with some of my results, especially at the cast to handstand, but still got 8 1/2 presses to handstand on the beam!

Gymnastics Exhibition

I did my very first gymnastics exhibition last week in a school. That was tons of fun! It was with my TOPs group from Airborne: TOPs and Baby TOPs together.

Here is the video:

It was so burning hot, during the heat wave.

The exhibition was a dance with some tumbling. We were showing off our skills, and I was a little embarrassed.

There was a famous Rock Band that was playing music loud before our turn, and I could barely hear my friends talk. And then, we did our demo. That was very very fun.

Celebrating Earth Day

I went to West Wind Barn where there was a Wild Cats show to celebrate Earth Day.We got to see a lot of felines. I got to see a Cheetah, a Bobcat, Mountain lion, and I even held a tarantula in my hand!! a snake, a weird lizard with a cut off tail, and I touched a giant turtle.

Question: What could a lizard grow back : his eye, tail, or legs?
Answer : find out in my next post!!!

At the barn, I also saw lots of horses! But one thing that annoyed me is that it says everywhere: No running near the horses, no shouting , do not give food to horses. But come on!! I already knew that because I hang out around horses with my pony!!

Birthday in Mammoth Mountain

This year again, we were at Mammoth Mountain for my birthday and this time, I had friends with me!

***

Nicole and Mallika were the first ones to wish me a happy birthday since the 3 of us were having a sleepover, and we waited until midnight to fall asleep only after they shouted Happy Birthday!

We went skiing and I went on a double black diamond. Once I was on the top, it looked scarier than when we were at the bottom of the slope. It was the hardest I've ever done! But in the end, I was so happy I had done it.

I went with my friends to go paint a sculpture and shine it at the end. But I have to wait 3 weeks to get it . It was fun painting it ,you get to choose your own colors and put it in a little tablet . There were also speckles (it is the other name they used for "sparkles").

I had dinner at the restaurant and got my own lava cake with a candle! We had so much fun!

Easter Treasures

I spent my Easter at JP's house in Lake Tahoe. He's got this great chalet, way better than the hotel! The snow was almost completely melted around the house, and the shiny stalactites by his windows were all gone, but we were still hoping for some fresh snow later at Mammoth Mountain.
It was a very fun Easter. I got a lots of chocolates and candies, a stuffed animal and more chocolates.
